Hometown: Eagan, Minnesota

Family: I have been married to my husband Wade for 14 years.  We have two very active, energetic, involved kids that keep us running around to a variety of activities on a daily basis.

Hobbies: I love to travel.  I enjoy exploring new places and also returning to some of our favorite spots.  Our favorite thing to do as a family is to spend time at Baby Lake.  Just a short drive away we get to our happy place as often as we can. Our family is also avid Warrior supporters. We love all of the sports and activities in Brainerd.

Volunteering: I try and give back to the community as often as I can and time allows for.  I am on the board of directors for This Ones for Hop Inc, a member of Lord of Life Church, and serve on committees to support our community.

Current employer and job title: I have been with Brainerd Public schools for 15 years. I am the Principal at the Brainerd Learning Center and have been in my role for 9 years. My philosophy is it’s not “work” if you love what you do.  I love my job!

What makes the BPSF mission meaningful to you? The mission is all about enhancing opportunities for students while supporting the classroom teachers, coaches, activities directors, and the district. I am proud to be part of a board that is kid centered along with teacher centered!
